Frequently Asked Questions
Silk & Product
Our pillowcases are made from 100% mulberry silk with a smooth satin weave. They are designed to feel soft, breathable, and comfortable against the hair and skin.
Momme is a measure of silk weight and density. A higher momme generally means that more silk is used in the fabric.
We chose 22 momme because it offers a substantial, smooth feel while remaining comfortable and breathable for nightly use.
Yes. Our pillowcases are made with 22 momme mulberry silk on both sides, so either side feels smooth against your hair and skin.
Silk is a natural fiber. Satin describes a type of weave and may be made from silk, polyester, nylon, or other materials.
Our pillowcases are made from mulberry silk, not polyester satin.
The pillowcase features a concealed, color-matched zipper that helps keep your pillow securely in place while maintaining a clean, seamless appearance. The zipper is thoughtfully positioned to minimize contact during sleep.
Silk has a naturally smooth surface that creates less friction than many common bedding fabrics. It is designed to feel gentle against the hair and skin and may help reduce pulling, tangling, and the appearance of sleep creases.
Individual experiences may vary. Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition.
Many people choose silk because of its smooth and gentle feel. However, no fabric can be guaranteed to suit every person or be completely hypoallergenic.
If you have a known allergy or a specific skin condition, please consult a qualified healthcare professional before use.
Sizing & Color
Available sizes are listed on each product page. Please compare your pillow measurements with our size guide before ordering.
Current pillowcase sizes:
Currently, our silk pillowcase is available in Queen size, measuring approximately 20 × 30 inches (51 × 76 cm). For the best fit, please measure your pillow before ordering. Slight measurement variations may occur due to the natural softness of the fabric.
Measure the length and width of your pillow rather than relying only on the name printed on your existing bedding.
If your pillow falls between two sizes or you are unsure, contact us before ordering and we will be happy to help.
We do our best to display every color accurately. However, slight differences may occur because of screen settings, lighting, photography, and the natural sheen of silk.
The color may also appear slightly different when viewed from different angles.
Silk Care
For best results:
- Use cool water, no warmer than 30°C / 86°F.
- Hand wash gently or use a delicate machine cycle.
- Place the pillowcase inside a mesh laundry bag when machine washing.
- Use a mild, pH-neutral detergent made for silk.
- Wash separately from rough fabrics, hooks, and zippers.
Always follow the care label attached to your product.
Yes, unless the product care label states otherwise.
Use a delicate cycle with cool water, place the pillowcase in a mesh laundry bag, and use a silk-safe detergent. Hand washing remains the gentlest option.
Use a mild, pH-neutral detergent specifically suitable for silk.
Do not use bleach, fabric softener, enzymes, optical brighteners, or harsh stain-removing products, as these may damage the silk fibers.
We do not recommend tumble drying.
After washing, gently press out excess water without wringing or twisting. Reshape the pillowcase and air-dry it flat or hang it in a shaded, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight and heat.
If needed, iron on the reverse side using the lowest silk-safe temperature while the fabric is slightly damp.
Do not apply high heat directly to the silk.
Silk may gradually become less glossy because of detergent residue, hard water, friction, high heat, or normal use.
Using a silk-safe detergent, avoiding excessive washing, and keeping silk away from high heat can help preserve its appearance and feel.
Wash it according to your personal use and normal bedding routine. Avoid unnecessary washing, as repeated exposure to detergent, friction, and heat can shorten the life of delicate silk fibers.
